Hey friends,

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. I got to spend some quality time with family and friends and it brought a smile to my heart.

Anyways, during my break time, I came across a tv special on Smashbox Cosmetics and found it pretty interesting. I’ve always heard the hype about their products and watched the show to see if they would reveal what the big deal is. They actually had some good ideas on techniques with their products so I decided to go ahead and order some stuff and check them out.

I’ll let you know how it works out when I get my shipment in and I’ll post a review here.

So welcome to my first official blog! I wanted to first, without sounding too cheesy, thank each and every one of you for your support by returning to our site and watching my videos and reading the FAQ. It shows me that you are really interested in what I have to share with you and it makes me feel really appreciated. So, again, thanks!

Ok, so now to something really cool that I wanted to tell you about.

If you have a chance, try and catch Oprah today, because they’re doing these amazing makeovers on women and literally taking 10 years off of them. I was astounded to see these truly remarkable transformations! It is so inspirational to see these women who let their looks go through the years because of careers and big life changes that affect us all, change into something so beautiful and confident. Some ladies opted to get dental and medical procedures done along with makeup, hair and wardrobe to improve their looks. I’m not by any means knocking that if you decide to go that route! In fact, plastic surgery can sometimes really help someone. Its just not for me…I’m scared of needles.

But it was so good to see that just by educating these women on how to apply makeup properly and update their hair and wardrobe can really make a significant difference in bringing out their inner beauty. It was like seeing a whole new person and I loved watching their self confidence exude!

So, if you do get a chance, definitely catch the Oprah show today and if you already missed it, I’m sure they’ll have a good recap on her website. They’re usually pretty good about it. (Edit: I found it! Here it is.)
